The Meralco Bolts lost the chance to beat B-Meg without Peter June Simon (Ejected in the 1st quarter for throwing a ball to Ogie Menor) and an injured James Yap who played limited minutes as Derby Ace gained 4th place in the current PBA Philippine Cup by beating Meralco 92-73.
KG Canaleta stepped up for the Llamados with 22 points and 7 rebounds while Mac Cardona was the top scorer for the Bolts with 22 points also, followed by Chris Ross with 13 points.
