The high scoring duo of Sol Mercado and Mac Cardona combined for 38 points but no other Meralco player in double figures as the Bolts ended the Elimination Round with its 6th loss against 8 wins. Meralco just scored 27 points in the 1st half and had a hard time scoring in the 4th quarter. Sol Mercado also had 6 rebounds and 9 assists.
Meralco led in rebounding 56-52 with Asi Taulava and Gabby Espinas grabbing 10 and 11 rebounds respectively. Mike Cortez led Ginebra with 14 points and Ronald Tubid and Mark Caguioa both with 13 points.
