The Rain or Shine Elasto Painters almost had a perfect game in defeating the Meralco Bolts, 139-95. ROS made 22 three-pointers (13 in the 1st half) led by Ronjay Buenafe with 24 points (5/8 from three-point range). Mac Cardona in his 2nd game back from an injury led Meralco with 25 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals but the defense of the Bolts was non-existent.
Gabby Espinas had a double-double with 12 points and the same number of rebounds. Rookie Paul Lee also had a great game with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and 7 players from ROS scoring in double digits.
