Import Brian Butch led Meralco with 27 points and 17 rebounds and shot 6/11 from the three-point line as the Bolts won their 1st game in the 2014 PBA Commissioners Cup. Reynel Hugnatan contributed 14 points and 6 rebounds while Gary David and Cliff Hodge with 12 points each.

Alaska survived a run by Meralco in the 4th quarter as they knocked out the Bolts, 94-91. It is the first time that the Meralco Bolts got eliminated in the 1st round while the Alaska Aces will face Barangay Ginebra San Miguel with Ginebra having a twice to beat advantage.

Gary David scored 16 of his 20 points in the final quarter including a 4-point play to cut the lead of Alaska to 1 with less than a minute remaining in the game. Paul Artadi contributed 15 points and seven rebounds for the Bolts while Cliff Hodge had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Jared Dillinger with 12 points and 8 rebounds.

Back-to-back wins by Meralco Bolts, this time against Alaska Aces led by Gary David with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists but Jared Dillinger was named Best Player of the Game with 10 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks playing point guard since Mike Cortez is out with an injury. Cliff Hodge was the only other Bolts player in double-digits with 10 points.

Meralco import Mario West led the Bolts to an 84-74 win over the Alaska Aces with 32 points including 20 points in the 3rd quarter as Meralco go up in the standings with 3 wins and 2 losses. The defense of Meralco held import Wendell McKines to only 13 points.

John Wilson with 11 points and Reynel Hugnatan contributed 12 points and 11 rebounds but was injured in the 4th quarter. Mac Cardona played his first game this conference because of an injury and scored 9 points, all in the 1st half. Cliff Hodge with 6 points and 10 rebounds and played great defense against McKines.

New Bolts player and rookie Vic Manuel had a break-out game with 18 points and 8 rebounds but Meralco got beat by Alaska, 85-81. Alaska import Robert Dozier led the Aces with 27 points while Meralco import Eric Dawson contributed 15 points only but grabbed 13 rebounds. Ronjay Buenafe with 14 points including 2 three-pointers in the last 2 minutes to make the game close. Chris Ross with 6 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 1 block.
